Handling Google Doc Share Spam
📄 Handling Spam Google Doc Shares
Occasionally, you may receive spam document shares via Google Drive. These shares typically come from the system address drive-shares-noreply@google.com, which is used for all Google Drive sharing notifications. Unfortunately, this means we can't block these messages without also blocking legitimate communications from Google.
✅ What You Can Do:
- Click Shared with me in the left-hand menu.
- Locate the suspicious or unwanted document.
-
Drag it to your Spam folder and choose Report as spam.
This helps Google improve its spam detection and keeps your shared documents list clean.
